The Defenseman skates at an angle to keep the Forward along the boards then body checks the player before the corner. Tips: The Forward should not try to stop or cut to the middle. As players progress, increase the speed of the forward skating. Move the defenseman further to the middle to increase the lateral movement required. To simulate a game situation, have the defenseman starting skating backwards and then pivot to make the play along the boards.
