Corner Cycle and SCore

For age level: 14 to 16

Explanation: 3 Players cycle the puck in the corner. Player X1 begins with the puck, carries a short distance along the boards then passes the puck, back to where they picked up the puck on the boards, to the next player, X3, who follows the same path, passing to X2. After passing the puck back into the corner, each of the 3 players, in succession cycle back into the rotation. When the coach blows the whistle, the player closest to the net goes to the net, the player furthest from the net, skates to a shooting position in the slot, on the same side of the ice as the puck, the player with the puck passes to the shooter in the slot for a one-timer.

Tips: The same cycle drill can be done further up the boards on the half wall to create a high cycle. Add a defender to make the cycle more realistic.
