Small Area Battle

For age level: 14 to 16

Explanation: Place the net at the top-inner position of the circle. Shoot a puck to the corner. Players battle one-on-one or two-on-two for control of the puck. Waiting players fill the space between the net and the boards to limit the play area.

Tips: Teach players how to use their body to shield opponents from the puck. In two-on-two, teach how to support the puck along the boards and break to the net when advantage is gained.
