For age level: 11 to 13

Explanation: Players start at the goal line, skate to the center line, stop, back to the blue line, stop, to the opposite blue line, stop, back to the first blue line, stop, to the end of rink. Players should finish at the opposite end from which they started.

Tips: Alternate forward and backward skating to improve both skills. Have all players face the same direction on stops to ensure they practice both left foot and right foot stops.
